Meet Dr. Kris Johnson
Dr. Kris Johnson
Dr. Kris Johnson was raised in Prescott, Arizona, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Religion from California Lutheran University. He then completed his medical education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program.
Dr. Johnson has extensive experience as a General Surgeon, having worked in several Level 1 Trauma Centers across Phoenix. He recently joined Shirah Surgical, where he is dedicated to improving patient outcomes by offering seamless care that bridges the gap between acute hospital care and home recovery.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Together, they engage in outdoor activities such as swimming, biking, fishing, and scuba diving. Dr. Johnson is a strong advocate of family values and approaches each patient with the same care and compassion he would offer to his own family.
